Added Convenience and Control

Powered by Smith & Loveless, the PROTRONIX® Control System supplies added operator convenience and power over station operation.

By opening one-half of the easy-roll FORMULA X® enclosure, the operator can quickly determine the performance of the station by reading the HMI PROTRONIX® display.

The PROTRONIX® Control System was engineered specifically for Smith & Loveless' pump stations and comes as the standard controller on the FORMULA X®. You just select the options you want and the PROTRONIX® Control System comes fully programmed, tested and operational. This microprocessor-based digital control system automatically controls more than just the operation of the pumps. It also controls the environmental system, accessories, panel display unit, and alarm functions through isolated digital and analog input and output ports.

3-D View of the PROTRONIX(TM) Controller The PROTRONIX® Control System also interfaces with the station's wet well level transducer system, a standard FORMULA X® station component that monitors the wet well level without using any moving parts in the wet well. A backup float system is also standard. Already communication equipped, PROTRONIX® easily connects to a phone line for SCADA or a dialer hook-up.

All of the station's information is displayed on a Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) unit. The PROTRONIX® Control System has three HMI display models:

Standard NEMA 4 Control Panel

Redesigned, the FORMULA X® Control Panel sets high industry standards. For starters, the FORMULA X® standard control panel is a NEMA Type 4 steel enclosure with hinged, lockable doors. Control Panel Mounting Arrangement

Add to that a standard control panel layout and wiring harness, making it more Operator-Friendly for those with multiple Smith & Loveless pump stations.

The control panel comes fully wired in the station, factory-tested, and ready to operate upon arrival at the job site. Additional mountings and control capabilities are already in place for easy addition of options if future rapid development growth would requirement it.
